Transaction Status & Details Viewer

Paste a transaction hash to see its status, value, gas used, and total fee — straight from the chain.

A transaction hash is a lookup key

Given just a hash and the chain it was sent on, a full node can return everything about that transaction — who sent it, where it went, what it moved, whether it succeeded, and exactly what it cost in gas. This tool makes that same lookup that every block explorer performs, directly from your browser.

How it works

Two RPC calls: eth_getTransactionByHash for the transaction itself, and eth_getTransactionReceipt for its outcome (success/reverted, gas used, effective gas price) — the receipt only exists once the transaction is actually mined.

Frequently asked questions

The transaction was found in the mempool or was recently broadcast, but hasn't been included in a block yet — no receipt exists until it's mined, so gas-used and fee figures aren't available yet either.

Reverted means the transaction was mined and included in a block, but the contract call itself failed (and any state changes were rolled back) — gas was still spent. "Not found" means no transaction with that hash exists on the chain you selected at all, often because it's actually on a different chain.

A transaction hash only exists on the one chain it was actually broadcast to — the same hash format looks identical everywhere, but the transaction itself is chain-specific. Pick the chain you sent it on.
